30th Aug - Day 8 on Edinburgh Inspiring Capital
Excatly 7 days after the start we find ourselves becalmed in Donegal Bay Ireland, after a fluky night sail the wind has completely died. The remaining rollers from the previously strong Northerlies make filling our spinaker impossible in these light breezes, so we have dropped the sail and headed off in a new direction using the wind seeker, a very light weight genoa. The barometer remains high, so with the percieved wisdom of associated South Easterlies this should put us in a good configuration when the wind finally arrives. In the mean time we sit and wait.
